A broken Chain Saw Chain! This happened to a logger friend.
A finger from a basketball player. This happened to a friend in a Jr. High basketball game when someone went up with my friend as he was trying to get a shot off, and the opponent stuck his finger in my friends eye.
Shrapnel from a bomb. I had a friend that happened to who was in the Viet Nam War.

When I was a little girl my grandpa was chopping wood. He hit the wood with his ax and the wood flew up in the air. He looked up and the sharp pointy stick hit him right in the eye. His eyeball fell out right on the ground and while I was screaming to my grandma to come quick - the chickens ate it. True story.
