do you think there will ever be a day when nobody has to "come out" and they'll be able to be themselves and date who they want without being threatened/laughed at/ or made fun of??

(yes i know you dont have to come out now but it seems to make things easier)

No. I mean, it's a nice thought and all, but you've gaoota understand. There are always gonna be religious fanatics that will hate us, because religion has been around long before we even called to be accepted, long before a person was ever comfortable enough to even acknowledge a sexuality other than heterosexuality. And then of course, there will always be people who hate us just because they can. Just because of their own insecurities. It's sadd, but true. I do believe that one day it wont be as bad as it is today, but then again, thats an obvious fact, seeing as today is better than it was years ago, and it's getting better all the time. But totally acceptance and unconditional love for one enough regardless of sexuality ... it's not likely to happen. Sorry. Loves,

I'm Canadian living in Britain...and I've been to America

I'd say that Canada is the most accepting. I was out at 16 and no one seem to bother me. I didn't live in a big city either I was in a small town.

One day it will be easier no doubt! Don't give up hope!

I know a lot of people say they pray yes, but think no, but honestly, how can we say what will happen thousands of years from now? Obviously in our lifetime people won't be able to have an easy time coming out, but at least we'll always have our pride.

yeah, probably in the next 50 years or so, people will totatally be use to it by then but you will still have a few morons running around with hate on their agenda because their own lives suck! Also, people today still have a problem with interracial relationships eventhough its been a while since the jim crow laws were in effect.

yea I think so but they may always get a funny look or someone may be suprized. FTW said never in the usa. Actually the us is 1 of the more accepting countries compared to Iran where people are being hanged and torcherd for being homosexual.

What I believe is this: It will always be a little difficult somewhere for someone to come out of the closet, but I envision a future where it will not be as widely ostracised and frowned upon... that it will have been proven "genetic" over choice.
