Don't think that would work unless he plans on feeding them dye stuff that will color the wool, on the sheep. DUH!
Dyes in wool have to be set with HOT water. About 120 degrees.
And, the water has to be a controlled, as the water temp is steadily increased from cold to hot.
Plus with any change in humidity, no telling what shade it will turn out. No two would match.
I don't think his sheep would appreciate being dipped in dye and water at that temperature.
