The forces of good and evil are locked in a battle within me! I just hope good wins in the end... Of course I also hope that the good is just what I want in life! Not what I have right now...

In cliche, uncreative, unsatisfying books and movies they most certainly are.

God, I hate those books. You're in suspense...who will win? NO ONE, the forces of good and evil are forever locked in struggle. Screw it, I want the main character to win, fall in love, and kill the bad people! (With a little more conflict, but you get the basic idea.) The whole good vs. evil will always be struggling forces for all time ending is just when the author runs out of ideas or is too afraid to write an ending that people won't like.

As long as there is good there will always be evil. It's like night & day, without one there would be no way to gage the other.
