Tender Loving Care???

lmao on that one neighbor! T=tender L=loving C=care. But maybe you meant TDC, no? That's T=top D=dead C=center. Which is a term used to identify an engine state where any given piston is in the uppermost position it can attain. Used to calibrate cam timing and a host of other engine timing issues.

If you are seeing, "needs TLC", in a lot of classified ads, they are saying that it needs work.

what krymz3000 said ...

Tender Loving Care ... which translates into if a bike (or anything for that matter) needs TLC or some TLC ... means it is tired and could use a bit of help ... could be from a cosmetic standpoint, mechanical standpoint or both...

Tender loving care. It means it needs an inspection and tune-up, all fluids replaced, replace or adjust chain, replace brake pads, etc.
