These days, ultrasound is pretty accurate and generally they won't even guess unless they're quite sure. It isn't 100% unless you've had an amnio but if they said girl, it's likely you're having a girl. One thing too is, they don't just look to see if there is or isn't something there. You can see little girl parts too, they're just different, think two light lines with a dark line between.

My original ultrasound (by a doctor) showed a baby girl. The next ultrasound (by a technician) showed a baby boy. In the end I had a baby boy. The crazy thing is that the doctor described all the girl parts. Anything is possible but I do think they are usually correct. Good Luck.

In my experience, they were wrong once out of 3, but that was a few years ago - 10. It seems like if they are not sure, they say they aren't sure. I would go hog wild on the pink, girl. I have 3 boys!

If they say it's a boy there's a good chance it's a boy. Most of the time when I've heard about wrong answers it's been that people were expecting girls and got boys!

Yes, they were wrong with both my boys (who were supposed to be girls). Granted it was 10 and 13 years ago, but I was really suprised for the first one, assumed they were wrong the second time.

Usually if they say it is a boy, then it is, they are mostly wrong (when they are) when they tell you you are having a girl. Good Luck. Most of the time 98% they are right.

Well, with my daughter the OB told me it was a girl or a shy boy. Ultrasound is more accurate at determining the sex of a boy, but it was right with all of my kids.

they said i would have a boy and they were right, but i heard w/ a girl it can be wrong b/c if the boy was hiding his you know what they can say its a girl, but its really a boy. so if they got a good look at it then you should be fine, but if they didnt they probably gave you a percentage such as 75% girl or something like that....

i've got not been advised the intercourse...my medical doctors are no longer allowed to tell you if it is a boy or a woman. they simply confirmed us the genitals, and it became needless to say a boy. i think of maximum medical doctors will understand the errors while the infant is born, except you have yet another ultrasound, you are able to consistently ask to look returned.

I had a feeling I was having a girl before the U/S confirmed it. 35 weeks and it's still a girl. Won't know for SURE until she's born, but I'm positive it's a girl.
