why do soo man ppl like math? i think its soo boring and hard

It's the same with many things. Why do I like music? Because I'm pretty good at making it.
Some people have a knack for math or like giving their brain challenges with numbers like math.
Someone may be a very visual person, who loves to read. Whereas a logical/mathematical person may prefer math because they're good at it =P

It is hard but challenges are good for you. A lot is boring too but there are some interesting parts. It is fun or at least rewarding to work through a long problem and get it right, or work to learn something and get an A on a test. Kind of like running 10 miles a day. Boring and hard but good for you.

Just because you find it boring and hard does not mean that everyone does. Math is the language of science and engineering. We can help understand our world in ways that our senses can not. It helps us to make (most) mistakes by modeling on paper rather then building something which could take time and money.

What I like about Math is not so much the Math for Math's sake but what you can use it for to solve engineering problems and designing power and control systems using it. more than anything.
Also comes in handy cooking as well.

Because it's logic. math is one road straight ahead. you can have multiple sideways to get to an answer but you will ( if you calculate it correctly ) always get the same answer.
A lot of people need logic. me for one i need logic.
Math has rules and those rules cant be bent. for example if you go say that 1+1 = 3, you kill math. math can always be corrected. it's wrong or right.

I love it. I don't really know why...I just always have.
It's something I'm good at and I think I enjoy the satisfaction that I get from completing problems.
Sometimes I wish I was still in school so I could do math homework...I know that's sick!

Well, if it's something that doesn't come easy to you personally, it probably won't be fun.But for people who are really good at math, and it's easy for them, they find it enjoyable.
