An Internet lyrics website says they sing... "I know, she knows, I'm not fond of asking..." but it doesn't seem that they do sing that... it sounds so different. What are they actually singing?

They are the lyrics. Though, the first few times I heard it, I was convinced he was singing, "I know, she knows I'm not Gavin Rossdale". Oh, well.

Haha this song kills me i thought he was singing " im not from the royston " for ages ,then i read the lyrics and felt like a **** i always do that, he has a funny accent though.

The website is right, those are the words, it's just their accents and pronunciation.
