Six of us will be traveling to San Diego for the weekend (Fri-Mon). We're staying on Mission beach and plan on checking out the zoo saturday and downtown saturday night. We're going to the Chargers game on Sunday and probably back downtown Sunday night. All things considered - parking, gas, travel time, designated driver, six people - would it be best to rent a car, hire two cabs for every trip (since there are 6 of us) or just get a limo everywhere we go and be done with it?

Any reccommendation would be helpful.

Thank you!

. The cab will allow you freedom of movement and will drop you directly at your desired location and you won't have to pay for parking and for the cab to sit and wait for you like you do with a limo. The limo is always a good idea. But best of both worlds would be a MiniVan Taxi on call. They do have them and you would not have to take 2 taxis if you use the mini van. This should probably be the most economical for you and make your stay the easiest!

Limos would be very expensive. The trolley goes between the Charger Stadium and downtown with no problem. That would help with parking and such if everyone is drinking. (they are really hot on DUI's here, not worth it) Then take a taxi back to Mission Beach at the end of the evening. There are some cab services that have mini vans - Yellow does I believe. I would also rent a car/van for other side trips.

It will save you money if you rent a car or van, but you're still gonna worry about parking, gas, traffic, etc...

it is more expensive but more fun to get a limousine, you can load the bar, hang out with each other instead of paying attention to traffic and finding a place to park.

the price divided by 6 might be affordable.

try a search at http://www.LimoXonline.com for a limousine quote. some companies are really reasonable.
