i in school to become a psychology major but i have a felony.?

how can i get my record expounged and it for poessin of a controlled substance and will it afeect my from being lienced someday

It depends what you plan to do and when you had the drugs... Now, there probably will allways be consideration against you being a psychologist, but I believe that if this was earlier in your years that it will be something that can be overlooked if you've had a clean record durring your pre-grad and grad school years. If not, there is allways the outlook that it is possiable for you to still be a therapist... which make good money as well...

The only hinderance is the psychologist, as they pescribe medicine and it may hinder you a bit, but otherwise I don't see it hurting you any as long as you don't lie about it when it's asked of you... Though, if you are to become a professor some schools have stricter policies than others with hiring codes (it depends on the school...)

.... boy... sometimes.. especially if you were a minor at the time... joining the military under the condition of cleaning up your record can do that... other than that....... .... Post this question in the Laws and Ethics section... they should have a better idea of what you can do.
