The murderer of headmaster Mr Lawrence is to be given a new identity (as well as his family) when he comes out of prison at the expense of decent British taxpayers of millions of pounds.
1) He is in for murder, should he not stay in for life?
2) Should the bastard have been executed?
3) Should he not have been extradited to Italy/
4) Should they not leave the low-life to his fate, or get the Italians to pay for his protection?
We british don't want murderers on our streets and we certainly don't want to pay to protect the bastards.

Old know all...I NEVER read The Sun!!!!!, it's a comic. Every time a story like this comes out the liberal lefties always deny it and say that The Sun has made it all up. I wish that were true, but nothing about this EU led Labour government surprises me any more.

Simple: Because the Labour government have no backbone.
And, the EU Human Rights constitution protect the wrong person - they should protect the victims.

First, don't believe what you read in the Currant Bun. Even the tìts are fictitious.

The government want to send him to Italy and are appealing against the Court's decision. His lawyers claim that since he came to this country at the age of 5 and doesn't speak Italian, he should be treated the same way as British murderers.

We have a system whereby murderers are released on licence when the parole board thinks they're no longer a danger to the public. OK so they should be left to rot, but remember that you're paying and keeping someone in prison costs more than putting them in a 5 star hotel.

If this scum is released and deported to Italy, he will not be monitored by the probation service and we won't be able to chuck him back in jail if he breaks the terms of his licence. He can obtain an Italian passport and come and live in the UK a free man.

As for giving him a new identity, this is only necessary because of the hysteria whipped up by the gutter press. Let Murdoch pay for it.

This is one of the many reasons I want to leave my home country and head for Australia. Our country is the only one who adheres 100% to the Human Rights Act. WE have been Europeanised out of existence by our useless New Labour Government under Tony Blair.

For gods sake...when will this madness stop.
The real victims In this (Mr Lawrence's family) have not had any of these luxuries....I wonder how they feel about it.
I can't believe that yet again, the needs of the criminal are deemed more important than the victims family.
I hope someone knows his new identity and has him killed....justice would then be served!!!!!!

Let's face it if someone robs, assaults or rapes you or your family then you obviously have driven them to do this. How could any vicious violent thug walk our streets in safety if your simple grasp of his rights are not your first concern. God forbid that you should defend yourself or even call for police to arrest him, This would infringe on his rights as a citizen of the EU to go about his unlawful business without let or hindrance.

As far as I'm concerned, once you've done the time, you're on your own. Criminals should have to live with the consequeneces of the crime they have carried out. If this means the loved-one of a victim wants to get revenge on that person (even putting themselves at risk of going to prison), than so be it. The criminal is owed nothing; he/she is the one who owes society for their misdeeds.
