Try spraying it with oxyclean and letting it sit. Woollite is also a good cleaner to try.

If you had rinsed it with cold water right away, it would have easily come out. Go ahead and spray it with Shout , let it sit and then wash in cold water by hand and rub the stain gently. Most of it should come out. The type of material will have a lot to do with it.

Depending on what the material is...- Hydrogen peroxide works wonders. My only complaint is it can be as hard on fabric as chlorine bleach. Test a small area first. There are also stain removers at the grocery store that are specific - get the one for blood.

Soak your swimsuit in a bowel of cold water and add salt. Leave over night and the blood should have lifted out by morning rinse well and hang in the sun to dry

No your not too late. All you have to do is use shout or a spot cleaner and leave it soaking in cold water. I'm sure your mom won't be mad about it. Talk to her.

another thing you can do is spit (yes saliva) on the stain. The enzymes will break down the blood.

Then rinse in cold water and it should be fine.

I suggest you try using hydrogen peroxide on any blood stain. It will dissolve.
