Yes, philosophy deals with ideas, where as intellectualizing deals with facts.

I would argue that philosophizing must at some point seek a telos or a telological end. In contrast, intellectualizing may simply be a mental exercise that leads no where, no place and is comfortable in is aimless act.

Philosophising is a dream state as most of the modern philosophy are.The truth never dawns and it never leads like the truth can.Intelligence on the other hand is the ability to think.Intelligence as in the truth works best with minimum information.Too much information misleads the ability to think accurately.

philosophizing is showing meaning to conflicts of life,intellectualizing is showing logic and knowlegde to answer those that question.
