Someone would need 60 or 80GB of harddrive space for the PS3 for the same reason that some one would need 120GB harddrive space for a Xbox 360. Also, the PS3's harddrive can be upgradeable to 250GB by purchasing a seperate harddrive.

Everyone is different in there gaming habits. Some people could transfer all of their video and music content onto thier 60GB PS3 and the extra space is needed.

In terms of game selection you will be able to play a more diverse game library with the PS3 because most of the 360's prized games are shooters. Also, the PS3 has a web browser so you can surf the web with a PS3 and plus much, much more that I won't even start talking about.

see there is a homepage kind of thing like XBox. U can download movies, games, levels, cheats and other stuff so if you dont want to have to buy like 50 memory cards cause the new games are pretty big probably, you just get a 60 or 80 gb of memory.
