I have to write an opinion article about how dangerous it is that most people today are choosing the internet over books for information. So far, the only reason I can think of is
1- internet can be misleading, inaccurate, and out of date.

What else can I add?

Books allow us to stimulate othe sense we have, not just sight. Holding a book, feeling it's pages, even it's smell. Also when you own a book you have something of value. Do you ever really get that when something is just in your computer. What if our world as we know it collapses, wouldn't you want our most important and treasured documents to be written down so they'll be saved?

books normally go through a review process before publishing

internet sites an not always from a reliable sorce and can, and most of the time conflict with other websites.

books can be sited more solidly, websites are normally static and will eventually get deleted.

i can't think of anything else but you can probably go from that.

Books have a long history of information that I am unable to find on the net. Books can be kept within reach for references. Books say alot about a person who has them displayed on his shelf. Books inspire; the net can't say speak for itself on this issue.
