we play a game with our kids called 'The Di Vinci Code of the car". Some one says just anything, then the next person says the first thing that pops into their mind, and then you just keep going around the car.
The other game is name that animal - each person takes turn coming up with the animal and each every person gets to ask a question until it is figured out....I had them on Sloth for about an hour....
Another game is the highway scavenger hunt...You pick out things that someone has to see while you are traveling....

sucks for you...
the best thing to do would be to take a nap, but if you cant go to sleep...
bring a portable video game system like psp or nintendo ds.
your ipod or cd player is always a good option.
bring some homework along with you and play catch up.
i'm not sure if you have the accomidations, but if possible, i like to bring my laptop and my broadband card. it allows you to get high speed internet on your laptop without being in a wifi hotspot.
hope that helps! good luck, have fun on your trip =)

I find age appropriate audio books (on cassette and/or cds from my local library) and as they listen to the book being read, they draw pictures of the characters or whatever sparks their imagination. It's a fun way to pass the time, especially on long car trips.

Yes sweetie...you can play "Geography" with them in which you name a country (or city) that begins with the letter A and then whatever the last letter is of that country or cities name is the beginning letter of the next country or city that is said by the next person or you can play road bingo.

play the game "I see". You know, "I see with my eyes something that starts with the letter 'C'."
Then they would have to guess. or, when you are in the car, look and see the other passengers and try to guess what they do for a living.
I hope these games help.

Well, unless you want them heavily medicated for the whole trip you better do something. I'd suggest tv video games,so get a tv or suffer like you've never suffered before.
