Whether they are in bands or solo artists I can relate much more with female musicians. They seem to inspire me much more as well, idk why besides the fact that I am a female. Anyway guys and chicks, what are some females of music that amaze you or inspire you?

On a different note, my boyfriend says there are no great female artists. I think it is hard to deny that it seems there are few female singers/musicians who reach greatness.
