Since the age of man there have those who have more, and those who have less. Rich is the person who doesn't dwell on this topic for it leads to jealousy, & envy. I have enough, more than some, but I am FAR, FAR from rich. I have no money saved up, but I am able to pay my bills, and have a few extras. I have my health, Wife. and Children, and Grandchildren (which give me great joy). Some people have no one, or no home, or no food to eat.
If you have a mother and father be thankful, mine are not living anymore, but I think of them always. If you have any of the things I mentioned be thankful. Don't worry that your house is small, and your neighbor has a big home, some people live in shacks with no running water or electriciy so be thankful.
In sumation it's not a problem with me!

Yes, this is a huge problem today. You could not support the ethics behind rigging the game to transfer money to the rich, could you?

It could be.

In the history of the world, political clout wielded by poor people has never made a country better or a government less oppressive.

It's a problem now. One of the reasons why we have such a problem with illegal alliens entering and staying in our country is because these people are desperate and trying to make a better life for their families. It will continue to be a problem just as it has for ages and centuries.

Only when the poorer decide to kill everyone in the richer class (see Russian Revolution, French Revolution, Glorious Revolution). Charismatic leader is shut out (Robespierre, Cromwell, Lenin), so he decides to shake things up. Then new rich step up, and the cycle gets to repeat itself.

it already is.
The "haves" want to make sure they get more and keep doing what they can to reduce (outsource, cut wages and hours,lay-off,do what it takes to get horde more and pay less). One day they will choke "the Goose that lays the Golden eggs" until they have no more cutting and no more people that can buy their imports (outsourcing). Also the working poor loosing jobs to illegals.

It is going to be a real giant problem, we are going to have to pay the baby boomers out of our social security. Then when we get to the age of retirement, we will not anything to help us.
I can see another depression coming.

The most salient point in the whole rich versus poor psuedo-debate is that no one thinks they are rich. As such, it becomes so much easier to deride something that you're not.
