Absolutely. Ask other students in the class to document his behavior for the week. Turn your documentation into the principal together. There are steps the principal must take in order to take action against the teacher, but if enough of you have documented his behavior, something is bound to get done. While I can't stand the idea of using cell phones in class, if someone can sneak one in to videotape one of his wild rants (to show to the principal, NOT to post on Youtube), do that.

Absolutely, and chances are everyone he works with is aware of this behavior at some level! I would document what happened in one of his classes and go to the counselor with a classmate or two. This man needs some help and shouldn't be near students.

Yes. You and your parents, as well as other students and their parents, need to schedule an appointment and talk to the principal about this.

I have seen teachers fired for this type of behavior.

Yeah, he should. If you think that his behavior will affect people internally and externally, then you should have him reported. Unless, you think he deserves to stay, then you shouldn't. Do you want him reported, or not? That's the question you should ask yourself. Hope I've been of some help. Good Luck.

Yes. Don't you think he'd report you if you were throwing stuff, slamming desks, and shouting?

His behavior is reprehensible and should not be tolerated by you, your parents, or anyone else with an interest of having teachers be an appropriate role model for youth.

Yes, do it immediately. Otherwise, a parent may come and sue the school.

Well, since you're asking about this, you're probably feeling uncomfortable about him, so you should report him. Make sure you have really good reasons.
