That all depends on whom you are saying 'Hi' to.
If it is a boss or someone of authority, I would say "Hello, how are you?" and if they sxtend out their hands for me to shake it, I shake their hands in a strong manner.
If it is my friends or buddies I work with, then I would say "Hey, everyone", or whatever that person or persons name may be.
Those are the two most common ways I greet someone.

Just hello, and shake their hand.
I don't get close to most people, so the greeting does not mean that much. I am cautious, shy.

I always say" HI! How are ya??" You know that exaggerated hi when you first start the conversation to suggest excitement in meeting up with them.
