Both are on my short list of favorite bands, but the number one spot is held by The Cure, and has been for many years. I don't foresee that changing any time soon.

I kinda feel like this is an oranges-apples comparison.
Had Fat Bob stopped recording after "Wish", it would be a very tough call, but...I've got to go with The Smiths.
