I want to call my mum's mobile in Canada but do not know if i have to put a prefix in front of the number (its a 10 digit number she gave me). I do not know the Canadian mobile operator or even if i need to use a prefix, like you would if calling "Vodafone" or "T-Mobile". Can anyone help please?

Dial 1 + area code + number.

If she gave you a 10 digit number the first three numbers serve as the area code and the last 7 numbers is the mobile number.
