if you dont want to spend a lot of money i suggest buying some 'dummy' cameras. they dont really work but the potential robber doesnt know that. some well placed mirrors are also a good idea. you could also install some of those magnet detectors at the door that go off if the product isnt rung up by the cash register. they have fake ones also. other than that just keep your eyes peeled and make sure your employees know the drill. look out for dishonest employees also. dont let them know if you get any of the fake equipment just in case the problem is an inside job. good luck to you, i hope the theives are caught!

What sort of shop is it? If it's a big one you could use those security tags, or if it's a corner shop or something, a camera could do the trick.
