A stay at home mom and a homemaker, huh? I did that. At first when the babies were .. well, babies, I did have time to keep everything shiney and neat. Then they got older and I was busy. My house wasn't as neat, and sometimes was really a mess and that was so cool! Stay at home moms have a unique opportunity as a homemaker! They can actually spend time with their kids...read stories, play blocks, dance, sing, paint, build forts, and teach your kids to help keep the house neat and healthy. I never cleaned on a schedule. I cleaned as needed; and between the two jobs, my kids needed me a lot more than that house did. After all, it never called me mommy. Bathrooms and kitchens need to be cleaned, really cleaned, weekly; straightened daily. Bedrooms have doors for a reason...but some people like them to be neat and tidy. The rest of the house should reflect your standards of tidiness; make it healthy and safe, but don't make a clean house the focus of your life...after all who are you making the home for?

youre lucky! id kill to be a stay at home mom!! as far as a cleaning schedule goes, if youre more comfortable and on-task with one, then make one. otherwise just give yourself time and youll fall into your own schedule!
