How can you find out the percentage of minority teachers in a school district?

It's usually listed on their website. But minority status really shouldn't be an issue. What you really want to know is if they're credentialed or emergency credentialed (which means they haven't completed a state approved teacher education program) and what school they went to. Almost all universities are emphasizing multicultural education to provide both themselves and their future students with an open mind to be accepting of all cultures. If you're looking for a bilingual teacher then check if the school is Title I.
