This is football at its worst..
Ok 3 point you say..but where are the strikers...?
Its a sad day when a midfilder scores a goal with no strikers in sight as sundays math proved only a one goal win over their opponents.
Has united really lost the plot (lets hope so...)
They were very lucky on sunday to win ...of course here we have that united old pox coming into play..(as a midfielder..lol).
rooney off etc..no hope this season I think...
but there again If they buy some half decent players mabe just maybe they may save themselfs from religation..
do you think the same as I do...

No Rooney or Solksjaer (injured) No Smith or Rossi (Sold) and personally I've never liked Saha, but wtf is Tevez about?! as long as Tevez is the lone striker for United we have no hope, he is a waste of time n money, we would have been better off buying Defoe from Spurs... I am a Man Utd supporter but for a team thats scored more goals from crosses and the wings than anybody else in the prem, why are we playing a compact passing and slow way they are lately? I hate to say it but Liverpool are going to win this year because for once they have something Utd don't... a real Centre Forward

And your point is????

This weekend alone

Chelsea won 1-0 scored by Midfielder Frank Lampard.
Arsenal won 1-0 scored by midfielder Cesc Fabregas
Liverpool 2-0 one scored by a defensive midfielder Sissoko the other by a Substitute striker....
Man Utd. 1-0 scored by midfielder Nani

Thats the top 4 for ya.....all but one scored by midfielders.

As for United strikers....all of them are out injured except for Tevez .....thats just the situation they are in.

Love them or hate them...Man U are a class side. Remeber, most of their strikers are out injured too. I'm not even a Man U fan. A lot of teams have won the premiership after worse starts. The fact that a midfielder has won them a match doesn't make them a bad team. They have strength in depth. They'll finish top four, no doubt top two, possibly champions. Ferguson always gets it right.

I don't think anyone cares who scores the goals when they are lifting the Prem Trophy over their heads!! Others have pointed out the obvious flaw in your arguments re how many other teams have midfielders hit the back of the net, so I'll just say..Go United.

i you kidding me, who cares who score, most people didn't give tevez credit he didn't score but his presence on the field was big, just because a striker doesn't score don't mean he's not doing his work.it was a great strike from Nani i say well done to him, not so done to him cause he's a midfielder.
