that really depends on what you want it for a basic one, most places r selling them for 300, but you can go anything up to 2 or even 3000 but thats just silly. if you want a basic computer stick with the 300 mark, if you want something with a lil more punch http://www.pcworld.co.uk have some good ones if you really wanna push it to lowest of the low, i've seen some on ebay and in the loot for around 50 lol, but id leave those where they are :D

You can get a functional if underpowered machine for around £300. A £400 machine will naturally be higher spec and so on, depending on what features you're looking for and what you plan to do on it.
