Depends who you ask. I am surrounded by people who make up their own minds about such things and talk to me anyway. A straw poll at my wake will probably decide it :)

For the typical American suburban matron, I am King of the White Elephants, a Door Stop, perhaps, but certainly no Prize. But for the odd, interesting ones who know that the American Stuff Derby is a sucker's game, and who are probably too smart for their own good, I'm the Jackpot.

Door prize? still need to open to take a look how much does it worth!!! If is a DIAMOND....that is precious!!!
white elephant? that depends on which country I stayed....even I am rare and beautiful....but my two ivory teeth are the most precious!!!May be living in thailand, I am still able to live...if in developed countries, my skin will become their handbags and my teeth will become their necklaces!!!
So, I'm do not want to be the door prize and white elephant, I want to be the one own these precious gifts.
