It was The Full Monty about a group of unemployed steel workers who set up a stripping group. Robert Carlyle starred and there's even an appearance by Bruce Jones (Les Battersby in Corrie). Very funny film.

The Full Monty was the one with the guys doing the strip tease but the "You can leave your hat on" song was in 9 and 1/2 weeks in the 80´s. Kim Basinger was doing a strip tease for Mickey Rourke with this song on.
