I live in a apartment building, 5 apartments down, and five up. I am on a end upstairs, however what if these BED BUGS are coming from the apartment next door, coming through the cracks and the walls? I'm on section 8 and I don't want this thing known to sec 8 or the super intendant, without it being a huge production , and people looking at mne as if I did it, or that I'm a dirty person. Who splits the bill? Do I pay or does the super, or sec 8 pay?I dont have other people living with me, no pets, no kids. No BF how could they get here? Thanks again

Vacuum your mattress very well and spray it with a "Pediculide" for lice. Then go to a 99 cent store and pick up a plastic mattress cover. Set off a flea bomb in your bedroom. Then clean your bedroom and vacuum your carpets very well. Remember to toss out your vacuum bag after you vacuum. Sect. 8 will not pay for it.

Having bed bugs doesn't mean that you are a dirty person.. You can bring them home if you stayed at a hotel or if someone that you visited had them.... You need to take your mattress/box spring and get some plastic sheeting and wrap them like a present.. If you can use a balcony, porch or strip of yard take them outside and let them bake in the sun.. While that is going on wash down your bedroom walls with bleach water solution and vacuum... Put down some baking soda on the floors and let that sit as well.. .This will smother them.. Go to Target, Walmart wherever and get a mattress protector that goes all the way around the mattress itself to create a barrier between you and the bed bugs.. That will also stop them from feeding on you.... Good luck
