Is it just a little creator or what?

Lightning does not form a creator, or a crater, either. It usually forms a small darkened or charred region on the surface. If it strikes metal, there may be bubbling and discoloration.

The path of the electricity through the ground can also fuse minerals into twisted, branching structures called fulgurite or "lightning glass".

Typically it will be a small spot of glass like material going into ground about 1" in diameter (although this may range depending on the intensity of the lightning strike). There is no crater.
