In Paris you can do many different things.
Like Museums, (Louvre, classical paintings, Musee D'Orsay, impressionist paintings, Musee Rodin, sculpture, Centre Pompidou, modern painting,) the famous sights, (Eiffel tower, Sacre Coeur, Nortre Dame,) or just walking along the river or the boulevards.
But do also try to go to the less known part of town, walk trough the smaller streets, look for smaller museums and have dinner in the local eateries.

To gain the best appreciation of Paris, a study of its origins and medieval history is most important.
These are the points of interest: The Conciergerie, Sainte Chapelle, The Pont Neuf and the Square du Vert Galant, The Musee de Cluny, The Marais, Place de la Bastille, Place Des Vosges, Maison De Victor Hugo.
