I managed to talk Darth and Patrick into trying Vegemite, so I think it's fair that I in turn have to try something I've never tried before. What would be a good suggestion?
The only thing I ask is to please bear in mind that I'm a vegetarian---I know, kid of a cop-out, since all of the really bizarre foods are animal-based.
Okay, what are your suggestions?

Polk salad is a green that grows mostly wild in some southern states. There are a few stores that sell it canned or frozen, but it could not be any more difficult to find than Vegemite. Even if you can hack it, you will be so busy running to the bathroom, you will not be able to get back to us before it goes to a vote. It was commonly mixed with dandelion greens and eaten in the spring for the purpose of purging. The only others who ate it were very poor, or had a thing for the Polk Salad Trot.

I've recently discovered the delights in eating feta cheese with watermelon. Take a bit of cold watermelon and then a bite of feta. Amazing. Being fed by hundreds of scantily clad servants while lounging on silk cushions and having beautiful people dancing for your pleasure is optional during the course of this gormet experience, bear in mind.

Stuff the peppers with a mixture of ground beef, sausage, salt, pepper, onion powder, tomato sauce, rice and cheese. mixed with an egg and a bit of bread crumbs. Roast in a 375 degree preheated oven , topped with more tomato sauce and with a bit of chicken broth in the bottom of the pot, covered with foil. Serve over broad egg noodles with marinara sauce mixed with the juices from the roasted peppers. Serve with a side of garlic cheese bread.

Do you like Indian food, they have the best vegitarian food. As for something unusual, there is an Italian pop called Brio. It tastes great to me but everyone I give it to asks me how I could have subjected them to that.

If you eat fish, the sushi you should have to try is Uni.
If you do not eat fish, there is no vege that I can think of that would be as horrific as Vegemite.
Cheeses? Do you eat cheese? If yes, Limburger. You must.
