so if u found out that a crack whore is getting an abortion because her pimp raped her and she now has no way out....she can barely support herself and the baby will be raised in the worst environment possible

Oh course I would. You don't just throw children away and out on the street. It wasn't there choice that their mother couldn't go out and get a real job or that the father shouldn't have any testicles left to impregnant anyone else. That is a baby, a human being who deserves better then to be talked about like it doesn't matter. Do you know how many people are waiting to adopt a baby.

And people can say I wouldn't adopt, but since I am an adopted child (yes I had a great childhood) I would adopt and we plan to in the future so don't judge me saying I wouldn't.

Then she should go to an adoption agency where she will receive free prenatal care, and help with all her bills, and she will be able to pick a family to adopt her child. I am able to give birth, so I dont plan to adopt, but I work with children with special needs and have a lot of adoptive families. There are families who will adopt babies with special needs. For every newborn baby there are many many couples who are wanting to adopt a newborn. I know people who have been waiting for years. My friend works for an adoption agency and told me most of the kids in foster care are older children who were removed from ther homes, not newborns who were unwanted. Also, a lot of these children have reunification plans in tact.

I don't mean to offend people with my views, but in college I took a lot of medical classes and when I learned, and saw the development of unborn babies I felt that I could not support the killing of them. I see no difference between a baby in the womb and a baby in my arms. I can't just change that opinion.

To me your question is no different than justifying a crack addict throwing her baby in the garbage after it's born for the same reasons you listed.

There are already babies and older children in orphanges and foster cares that were born to a crack whore who was raped, so why haven't some of you adopted those children already there? Shouldn't you "practice what you preach?"

Thanks for those stats. I have always wondered that and no these most of these women would not adopt the child. It is very easy to say they will. I had a friend that bounced foster to foster then ultimately killed herself despite all our best efforts to help her. In her letter she said she wished she had never been born. Sometimes life is not great to every child. It is a very cruel world.

Absolutely, I would adopt it. Not only me but tons of women and couples out there would be more then happy to get a baby, no matter what conditions it came from.
