I prefer Scotland. I thought it was more beautiful and I love the highlands and bagpipes.

I care very much, but I know from American History that there used to be a fight between the two countries. I guess you have a preference but I am not allowed to ask a question.
I love English History. I love the scottish accent and the British accent too. I have a southern accent (can't help it). Just depends on where you are raised.
I have never been to either country, but just seen pictures. I would have to say that Scotland and English both are beautiful.

Scotland is my choice and I wish the English would get out of Scotland and Let the Scots run their own country. Scotland needs English rule like a Fish needs a Bicycle.

I prefer England, but there are many other Americans who would prefer Scotland.Only the English culture and there ethics, I still think that all people in the world are the same.

American Tourists are treated better in Scotland than they are in England. But that doesn't mean that they prefer one over the other.

I Like Scotland. England is nice, but I think scotland is more interesting.

I am looking forward to visiting both , plus Wales next year! A musician friend just returned from the UK and told me he actually preferred Ireland overall.
Maybe Ireland just has a more appreciative American blues audience.

Prefer for what? I've spent much more time in England but I did enjoy visiting Edinburgh and Glasgow.

honestly I think Americans are more busy looking and cheering for themselves in the mirror to worry about choosing either england or scotland
