I think it is ironic once russo entered wcw the company went in the toilet.

What ended WCW was Time Warner buying out Turner and putting the company up for sale. Vinnie bought it for the tape library, not to keep the company rolling. Russo was an absolute fool who over-inflated what he did with Vinnie and attempted to become "the show" at WCW with high-profile wrestling angles which were ridiculous.

WCW was dying before Vince Russo even stepped foot inside the company. It was all Time Warner not wanting anything to do with professional wrestling.

no they did not have a bond in ending wcw.
