I think steven frys voice is amazing, especially after listening to the harry potter audio tapes!

Karen Carpenter had a great voice, lots of mediocre songs, but a great voice.
James Earl Jones, has a nice speaking voice, good timbre.
I'd say a classic British voice is hard to beat, something about all those fish & chips, does the voice good.
