I don't know; the thought has always scared me. I teach English in an institution and my little students seem to really admire me and want to be like me-particularly the girls. Me of course, aware of my shortcomings, feel kind of strange... as if I deceive them somehow... So, I can't answer your question, really... It's definitey an honour to be considered as such but I'm not sure that this is the case in reality. Also, if you get into the good role model mentality, perhaps you run the risk of acting as others expect you to act rather than as you really want. And I do want to claim my right to make mistakes and just be... me! xxx

I most certainly would.
Although I am male my hair is halfway down my back, I am a non conformist not a sheep.
Most of my contemporaries have their hair shorn like the kids at my school (when I was a lad) who had seen the nit nurse.
Sure I break the law, when ever I speed but I try to stay on the right side of the fence most of the time.
But to err is human.

Aside from the fact I drink a lot, smoke weed on a daily basis and cheat on my girlfriends fairly regularly, I would say I am most definitely a good role model.

Definitely. I teach our children how to draw well, how to not be played or not be suckers. To not bow to others or be followers. To be independent and not have to rely upon anyone. They know how to cook, find water where there is none, and avoid conflicts.
