how big is my betta fish supposed to be???

i bought to betta fish like 4 months ago and they had babies.....only 1 survived and the mother died.:( well now the baby is 4 months old and its only like 2 inches.is that normal???is it supposed to be that size??

That's about a normal size for your betta.
