I think it's horrible and I am still kind of in shock. I was a friend of his for the past 10 years he was a wonderful, caring person but he had troubles within himself that he couldnt come to terms with. It's ashame, he was so young and had so much to offer on and off the court. Hopefully now he can find peace.

He wasn't a major star but had the potential to be. It was interesting to see him with Minnesota because he had a very similar skill set to Kevin Garnett. He was 6'10", he could handle the ball, shoot from beyond the arc, rebound and block shots. He ran the floor excellently. But he couldn't stay out of trouble with the law or the bottle. It is tragic to see him end his life the way he did.

Yeah Eddie Griffin, The poor guy dies when his SUV got hit by a train. Amazing thing is that he was suppose to be the sh!t. He went 7th in 01 draft picked by the rockets, then traded to Twolves and just waived by them in March. He has had alcohol and drug problems ever since he started playing. Even got suspended earlier this year in Jan for 5 games.
Bet you anything he got drink and rammed his SUV in that train coz he got waived.....SAD man totally SAD

He has been a troubled soul all his life suffering from all kinds of demons. I am sure his death didn't come as a surprise to many that knew him. It's a terrible thing for his family, friends, and fans of the NBA. None of us will ever know what was going through his mind.
