I'd like to get a laptop, budget is $1500 Canadian Currency, I need it for school, communicating online with friends, music... Pretty much for everything, what should I get?

I would recommend a Dell Inspiron 1720, a 17'' laptop. I have a Dell Precision M90 with a 17'' screen that has been very good.
