It totally depends on the situation and the who that I am dealing with. My patience with health care, the U.S. government and such things is beyond thin. And inhumanity in general is a thin line. However, in terms of having compassion and sensitivity and patience in general, often I am probably too patient for my own well-being. Most often it isn't worth the energy, especially when hitting a wall.

I have Patience to spare; if someone would like to have some, I'd be happy to share. I can't imagine getting through all those layers of understanding, accepting, tolerance--& finding even a seed of impatience there. (Patience not to be confused with issues over which I have no control.) Those long waits on the phone? I just day dream & when someone finally comes on, I've forgotten who I called. Lines in stores? LOOK at people, chat with them, make them smile. People zap around me (when I'm driving over the speed limit!) & wind up at the same stop light. Hello? I think my patience is--obese? (Sorry, Patience, no offense intended.)

I don't wear on my patience at all. Why build your own stress?
It's too easy and takes less time to just do it myself, or help the other person get to it and through it. Every action does not necessarily require a reaction...some times just letting the direction flow or adding energy to it produces a quicker and usually more quality result. And instead of possible anger or stress, you get accomplishment.
And in some situations, another person may desire you to respond incorrectly, become stressed, etc. Usually in this case, ignoring the problem usually defuses the situation and you have won the battle without and offensive move.

Depends on the situation- if I am standing in line too long it wears thin quickly. If it is a less pressing issue such as finding the right shirt to buy, I can be very patient.

Depending on what is trying my patience I can wear it paper thin (when people insult my friends or family) or rock solid.

Hi,
It’s been a stressful year and there’s more to come so maybe I’m not as patient as I’d normally be but even as frazzled as I sometimes feel now, I wear my patience around my like a delicate, finely textured gossamer. It takes a lot for me to lose my patience and although the gossamer is fine like the soft clouds of dandelion down, it is also exceedingly strong. It rarely snaps!

It depends on many things, my surroundings, awareness, situation, mainly though I try to let Jesus handle all the hard stuff, yet I continue to prove just how human I am by tripping up and nutting up over trivial stuff sometimes, and then I feel like a idiot.
