But even though it says that its a 2.0 usb it doesn't work for 2.0 drives like my ipod. When ever I plug my ipod it says "This device can preform faster...click this to see 2.0 ports" So I do and it gives me a list of ports that are hi-speed and 2.0 but the thing is that where can I go or what do I do to plug it into those ports they are showing me because I only have 3 USB ports on my Vaio and all of them are set to the same speed (1.0-1.1). So what can I do so I can have my USB ports a 2.0? Also I was reading some articles and they were saying change BIOS settings to Hi-Speed instead of Full-Speed. How can I go into BIOS?

Need to get into BIOS; try reading screen when laptop first powers on, it'll TELL you what to press.

Alternatively, and radically, you could always try "READING THE MANUAL IT CAME WITH"

Same answer goes for all 3 times you asked this withing 5 mins.
