I have to pay my school tuition, and one of the options is "pay upon receipt." I don't know what that means but it is holding me back from paying my tuition. For all I know, it could be an option that I would prefer over credit card payment and automatic withdrawal.

"Pay Upon Receipt" basically means the same as COD ... When you receive the bill, you should pay it ... Most colleges won't let you attend classes until you have either (1) secured financing to cover your costs or (2) pay your tuition in full ...

If you have questions or concerns, you might want to contact the school's business or financial aid office.
