the urge to cheat comes from a lot of different sources. I had an ex who cheated a lot, and I just blamed him. I now realize now, years later, that I was to blame too. I was a ***** girlfriend, controlling, just not someone he enjoyed, but we had a child, so he stuck around. I know he could've done other things besides cheating, but obviously he was missing something in our relationship and needed to find it somewhere else. The relationship eventually ended anyways, I have matured to the point where I can now be in successful marriage with no worries of cheating or being cheated on, but remember there are always two sides to every story.

Exact numbers are hard to come by because studies vary widely. Some say as high a 60% of men and 50% of women cheat at least one time in their marriages.

A poll some years ago said 80% of men and 60% of women. I think the men part is right but the women part is a little high.

the amount is probably overwhelming and the only reason I can give is that no one communicates anymore. It's such an easy thing to do but everyone seems to have difficulty doing it.

Plenty, unfortunately. There are a lot of selfish people in this world.

It "may" be all of them.
A Russian woman I knew once said, "Every marriage has an affair, its just a matter if they survive it".
