Songs about different emotions?

Question

I am looking for a song for a video I am making. I would like songs that are not necessarily the "norm"...

I need songs that portray the following emotions:

-I'm ready to make a change in my life and break out

-I am confident and happy and can do anything

-I smile although I am unhappy

I know these are inconsistant with each other, but I have a specific purpose for them...I really want some song that may be unknown....

I Wanna Do it All... I don't remember who sings it...
It even has the line... "I wanna feel good in my skin... Catch a few beads down at Mardi Gras..."
Maybe that's appropriate?

The theme song of my high school graduating class was "When You Walk Through a Storm," originally sung by Nat (King) Cole. It's about 50 years old, but has universal appeal. It's about having pride in yourself and your accomplishments, about being unafraid of the "storm," a symbol for life's terrible moments. This is the type of song that will never go out of style. If you've never heard it, I suggest you do a search online or in your local library. It would make a beautiful backdrop for a video.
