a stalker is someone who follows you around, knows things that they shouldn't, takes picture of you when you're not expecting it, etc.
I've been stalked...this guy kept leaving messages on my voicemail and if I was out with friends he'd just show up and follow me around....creeeepy!

The word "stalker" is one of a handful of words that are tossed around too lightly. A stalker is somebody who places him/herself in close proximity of the victim and uses violence or a threat of violence in a way that would cause a reasonable person to fear for their safety, and it's done in order to intimidate, coerce, or harass.
