i want to become an actress, and i have been in a film once, but im not sure if i am going to get enough A-levels to get into a performing arts college. our schools drama is very bad!!!! seriously. is it the education the school is giving that will make me not have enough A-levels or does it depend on how well i do in acting and how i do in exams?

Ultimately it will be about how well you act. Hands up who knows how many A levels Kevin Spacey has.

Qualfications - RELEVANT qualifications, with practical aspects to them rather than simply theory - can help you be seen in the first place, but in all honesty as your chances of success in this industry are so low anyway, not having these qualifications, certainly at this stage of your career, isn't a deal breaker.

I got my first drama-specific qualification aged 24, from a course that only required relevant experience (I'd been involved in am-dram for a few years). I went on from there to Central School of Speech and Drama and now am a professional actor.

I do theatre studies in uk.. our school also does LAMDA lessons (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) its basically an acting grade thing.. you could work your way up that.. right now i'm doing my lamda deploma... must give you some kinda credit? or you could move schools? well you have to do decently in grades and you also should have some talent in the acting department to be able to get in.. not gonna lie performing arts colleges are hard to get into... but I'm sure if you really want to do this you will be able to get in! I'm thinking about performing arts too.. but maybe fine art... anyway feel free to email if you want! good luck!

try going to a local drama club situated in a theatre or a local school or something. i do and i've already landed the part of "Juliet" in Romeo + Juliet and "Maria" in West Side Story...i guess im just lucky! but you can do that. go all the way and believe in yourself...good luck!
