I am a Republican, as most of yall probably have grasped. I have received 7 violations for my opinions in the last 5 days from Liberals reporting me, without having violated Yahoo! TOS. I know most Liberals don't like freedom of speech, unless it is their own, but isn't it reasonable to think that Liberals would like to shut the Conservatives up as much as they can, before we can change the minds of folks who are undecided at this stage?

I am neither a liberal or conservative. I think I fall somewhere in the muddled middle (The Center) - like a lot of people in America.
I feel like both side wishes to shut the other down. But I think it give the parties the fire to really fight for what they believe in, which is really needed especially in an election year. I am sorry you are being unfairly targeted for your conservatism. But I am very sure there are others that feel like they are being unfairly targeted also but for their liberal views. I feel you hit the nail on the head when you said "People don't like freedom of speech unless it's their own". I don't think liberals are the only ones guilty of that. There are plenty of conservatives that suffer from that as well.
Whatever happened to healthy discourse in this country? I mean we all don't have to agree but all the name calling and viciousness is enough to turn a lot of people off of the political process.
If people believe in something then they should defend that issue with a rational debate (something along the lines of "because of reason #1, #2, #3, I support/am against this issue") - why the petty immature comments? I don't understand.
Sorry for ranting, but I needed to get that out.

I've been reported a few times by right-wing cowards who can dish it out but can't take it. The greatest liberal President, Franklin Roosevelt, said, "The only thing we have to fear is... fear itself." Well, we've gone beyond that. We do not fear even fear anymore. And we sure as hell don't fear a bunch of lying, cheating, Constitution-stripping, freedom-dissecting, religion-twisting, hypocritical right-wing maniacs. We are the liberals, and we are winning. So who are you bums running against Hillary in 2012?

hi, I'm a liberal, and i have the same problem with getting violations from the neocons
i think trying to censor others is a human weakness, not the problem of a particular political party or agenda.
i think the primary difference between libs and cons is that cons seem to think themselves incapable of many of the same nasty things libs do.
"sir, i disagree with everything you have to say; but i will defend to the death your right to say it"

Boo Hoo. Save it. Conservative haters report all the time.
And it is conservatives who dont like free speech, unless its their typically wrong and porographic cabal against liberals.
Keep cryin'. I love it. Really.

Oh yes, we are very scared but you on the other hand are probably in the middle of cleaning out your boots. You are either quite scared or quite delusional judging by the pretense of your question.

I don't think anyone is "scared" of anyone else, or any other group, here.
However, some of us are getting tired of seeing all the "all libs are bad" and "all cons are bad" questions.
Both sides need to quit the childish behavior!

Most days, the Conservatives outnumber the Liberals on Y*A. They must be trying to level the playing field. I personally think that the more of their distorted thinking that they expose, the more people pull away from their left wing ideology unless they are attorneys, of course.

I've been scared since I started reading about James Dobson, Rod Parsley and Dominionism. Militant fascism in the name of God is scary.
