I have this friend, that lies about/to me alot, acts stupid in public, just to be cool, and everyone thinks he's so funny, sometimes I do stuff with him that's stupid, but not very often, and people always think it's only funny when he does it, and he is always telling people lies about me, and blaming me for stuff, he's 2 years younger then me, but should I be friends with him? or not, or is that just how kids are... his age.. Immature like that.. I just sometimes tell him to go home while he's at my house, and I don't want to tell everyone in my house everything he does, because that's like ratting him out, so they always take his side, and assume I told him to leave for no reason.. any advice on what I should do with this?

you should talk to your friend about his actions and tell him how you feel about them and see what he says about it.

talk to ur friend frankly about this problem of his...n tell him he's acting too immature for his age and dat u can't tolerate certain aspects of his behaviour...but don't be rude to him bout this matter just tell him in a way in which he understands wadever u say 2 him n doesn't feel hurt..bout it...
u can tell him that he needs 2 change his behaviour but leave it 2 him 2 make his own decision...don't force him 2 do it..just xplain things calmly 2 him....n tell him dat as a friend his behaviour is not tolerable....hope he understands...n if not..then it's better 2 not be too friendly with him.....

if you have a personal disagreement with a 'friend" (and this guy isn't a friend), it's no one else's business so no one should be running amuk giving their opinions on your argument.

my best advice is to be a good example and not play into his arguments... don't do what HE wants, but be YOU, and do what you feel is right for yourself.

and if he continues lying about you for whatever reason, cut him off.

i don't think this person knows how to be a friend?
